Our factories founded in Bilecik-Bozüyük in the year 1979, is one of the biggest of European companies on the subjects of water heaters and wall hung boiler, with its approximately 500 experienced staff. Our establishments carry on their production activities at open area of 215.000 m2 and closed area of 28.000 m2.

It is a leader production establishment with its high production capacity and technology on wall hung boilers, instantaneous gas water heaters, electrical storage water heaters and boiler products that it produces. The know-how of the products belongs to DemirDöküm and R&D (Research and Development) works are being performed by expert engineers employed in the structure of our establishment. At the same time, this establishment is the company, which has achieved the first ISO 9000 Quality certificate in Turkey.

Its Wall Hung Boilers Factory, having a production capacity of 240.000 pieces/year, produces a wide range of products, including in the premix condensed, atmospheric condensed, standard and atmospheric Low NOx models, on a full-automatic hybrid production line.

The Compact Instantaneous Gas Water Heater product family, which has been opened in the year 2004, covers the chimney and hermetic models with 5-6-10-11-14 l /minute capacities. Its production capacity is 600.000 pieces/year. The main parts of Instantaneous gas water heater are produced on our workbenches and assembly lines having advanced technology, within the structure of our establishments.

Production processes are principal inputs for environmental protection. Heat exchangers of wall hung boiler and instantaneous gas water heater are coated with water based aluminum paint, which isn't harmful for environment and human health. All of the technological and household wastewater, which is arisen within the established, is refined in advanced water treatment establishment in a biological and chemical ways and then the solid wastes are disposed in accordance with the relevant regulations.

Air Conditioner Factory has started to produce for June 2008. The capacity of factory is 400.000 pieces/year. All products are A-Class and 4 different capacities including in 9.000 btu, 12.000 btu, 18.000 btu, 24.000 btu.

Electrical storage water heater factory produces electrical storage water heaters having capacities between 50 and 150 lt. and boilers having capacities between 200 and 1000 lt. Production capacity for electrical storage water heater is 375.000 pieces/year and for boiler is 40.000 pieces/year. The Boiler-Electrical storage water heater establishment located in Blomberg-Germany has been moved to Bozüyük establishments on April 2004 and its production has been commenced. The clean energy can be used as connected to central heating system of our establishment, where we give importance to production of products using clean energy sources.

The tests, which are put forward by Gaseous Devices and Effectiveness Directives, can be performed in our developed laboratories and can be used as a reference during certification processes. Our principal R&D strategy is strategically environment, efficiency, usage of consumable and alternative energy sources, system approach together with individual solutions creation and applying automation-communication technology to the products. Under this frame, sun-batteries, cascade solutions, zone control, fuel cell technology and smart control systems are Research and Development (R&D) subjects of our establishment.

Instantaneous gas water heaters, wall hung boilers, electrical storage water heaters and boilers, produced in the establishment, are being used not only in Turkey but also in all over the world. Product Characteristics:

Pitch : 25 mm :

Since the produced radiators have 25 mm pitch, they have more water channel and thus more wet water surface with respect to radiators having 33 or 40 mm pitches.

The case of having one pitch per 25 mm necessitates usage of more convectors and therefore convection surface becomes more. Furthermore, the heat transfer is higher since convectors are welded directly on to water-columns. Thermal power efficiency of DemirDöküm panel radiators is with respect to its competitors due to these characteristics.

Zinc Phosphate Coating:

There are two types of phosphate application, such as iron phosphate and zinc phosphate, made onto steel surfaces prior to painting process. Paint bonding is ensured perfectly by means of zinc phosphate application. Also, corrosion resistance is higher, since there are manganese and nickel on zinc elements on the coated surfaces. Its another characteristics is very good compliance with kataphorese paint.

Kataforese Paint:

Kataforese paint is an electro-coating process applied as first layer coating and based on electro-chemical principles. It is a quite effective method for protecting metal parts having complex geometries by painting process and recently its usage has become widespread on the other sectors besides automobiles. Electro-coatings, used on automobile bodies without any argument, have entered into productions of rims, refrigerators, washing machines, dish washing machines and radiators.

Kataforese coating has the following superiorities when compared with Conventional painting / coating methods:

• Quite regular film layer thickness and appearance on the body surface.
• Perfect coating of sharp corners, edges, closed volumes and welded regions.
• High resistance against corrosion.
• No overflow and no drop is seen
• Zero solid waste and friendly to environment.
• Low risks of fire and health.

Corrosion resistance becomes too high when kataforese coating and zinc phosphate coating are applied together.

The results of humidity tests, carried on according to DIN 55900 indicates that corrosion resistance of DemirDöküm is four times more with respect to radiators coated with iron phosphate and wet-painted with conventional type immersion method, due to above mentioned superiorities. For this reason, 10 years of guarantee is given for DemirDöküm panel radiators in actual meaning.
Panel radiator producers don't prefer zinc phosphate and kataforese coating in spite of their above indicated superiorities, due to high investment costs.

Panel radiators are painted with epoxy polyester powder paint after kataforese coating. Characteristics of the consumed paint is as follows:

• High resistance against shocks.
• Perfect aesthetic and decorative appearance.
• Characteristics of very good bonding on the steel sheet.
• High corrosion resistance.
