Turkish heating cooling sector leader DemirDöküm celebrated its 53rd anniversary in 2007. The company carries out its activities under seven different companies and three of these companies are located in Turkey. Demirdöküm exports products it manufactures like combi boiler, panel radiators, boiler, flash heater and natural gas heater to 52 countries in total and in year 2006 DemirDöküm’s exportation volume reached 128 million Euros. With this growth level Demirdöküm became a global player in its sector. With its R&D Works DemirDöküm participated in the Hannover Fair where Turkey participates as partner and where Turkish industrialists have a total stand area of 9.980 m².

The fair opened on 16 April 2007 with the opening ceremony held in the presence of our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Germany Prime Minister Angela Merkel, in this fair DemirDöküm demonstrates fuel cell components under the scope of PEM fuel battery and micro-cogeneration systems project. Prof. Dr. Georg Milbradt, Minister President of the Free State of Saxony visited DemirDöküm stall and took information about the fuel cells. Demirdöküm started production of bipolar plates which is one of the most important components of this Project and as other components are added fuel battery production shall be started on 2010 for various products from automobiles to mobile phones in a way to cover micro-cogeneration systems and uninterruptible power units.

Target of DemirDöküm is to become one of the three leader firms in the heating sector and during a period where developing technology and alternative sources are used more and more each day DemirDöküm shall continue its R&D activities and shall present the future Technologies to its customers today.
