The 52nd Ordinary General Assembly assessing the operations of the year 2006 was held under the presidency of Dr. Bülent Bulgurlu, the President of Koç Holding Durable Goods and Construction Group, yesterday (April 6, 2007) in Divan Hotel.  In the operation report, declared with the signature of Mustafa V. Koç, the Chairman of DemirDöküm, it was stated that the total consolidated turnover of DemirDöküm had increased by 36 % to YTL 775.6 million. It was stated that an increase of 45 % had been provided in the net profits and therefore a profit of YTL 41 million was achieved. At the General Assembly, it was decided to distribute the shares, to be exported, to the share holders free of charge as of May 14 2007 that will be issued through the addition of the dividend from the profit of the year 2006 amounting to YTL 9 Million.

The Company Management has emphasized that DemirDöküm would be one of the top three firms in the world in the heating sector by 2010. In his speech, concerning the operation report, Mr. Özdemir Bayur, one of the shareholders, stated that the results for 2006 were satisfactory, he added that combi boiler and panel radiator investments constituted excellent potential for sale and the indebtedness structure was good compared with the sector, and also thanked Mr. B. Lütfü Kızıltan, the General Manager of the Company and his management.

It is stated that the company reached 52 different countries, through DD Heating Limited in the United Kingdom, agencies in Germany, France and Russia and Demiladi International Trading company in Tianjin Free Zone of China, with the trademarks of HeatLine and Demrad. In 2006, the export volume of DD Group have increased by 13 % to reach EUR 128 million.
