At the Meeting held by Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) in Bursa where the export figures for January 2007 were announced, a shield was awarded to DemirDöküm which takes part among the top 10 companies that have the highest export volume of the year 2006 in Bursa.

At the meeting where Mr. Emre Kavukçu, Assistant General Manager of Foreign Market Development, awarded with the shield as the representative of Türk DemirDöküm Fab. A.Ş. which takes part among the first 10 exporters in Bursa region, Mr. Oğuz Satıcı, President of TİM, stated that the total export figures for January were increased by 34.20 percent in comparison to the same month of the previous year and they reached 6 billion 606 million USD. Mr. İbrahim Okur, Secretary General of Uludağ Exporters Unions (UİB), pointed out that their target is to realize exports of 20 billion USD as UİB and 10 billion USD as Bursa region. 

While DemirDöküm preserves its leader position in the country, it also continues to grow rapidly in global markets taking into account the export revenues amounting to 126 million USD realized in 2006. Offering its products consisting of panel radiator, cast iron radiator, combined heater, water heater and towel heater to the markets of 50 countries extending from Chile to China, two thirds of DemirDöküm's exports are oriented to European countries. Considering its panel radiators, it is in the fifth position in the U.K. with a market share of 8 percent, second position in Greece with a market share of 20 percent and first position in Romania with a market share of 24 percent.
